Why write on Durga?

From the video description

Why should an author be expected to write only within the boundaries others assign to them? In this moment from the podcast, Piyush speaks about being questioned for writing Durga in Nigeria instead of writing only on Dalit themes because of his community identity. His point is powerful: before judging a book by its title, ask about the vision behind it. Creativity should begin with truth, not labels. Sometimes the bravest thing a writer can do is step outside the script society has already written for them. #PiyushMahiskey #IndiaAuthorsShow #AuthorReel #CreativeFreedom WritingBeyondLabels IndianAuthors Storytelling OpenMindedness
